Introducing Udderly Naked  100% natural soap and body products.  Wendy has been studying all the details of soap making since early in 2012 and is now ready to share the fruits of her labor.  Trying to avoid all of the chemicals in our technologically advanced society, it is becoming more and more difficult to find simple, basic, pure, natural and quality products.

Udderly Naked was developed to be a line of natural products made with high quality ingredients including – raw goat’s milk – milked right here on our farm; vegetable oils – coconut, palm, olive, castor, avocado, almond, cocoa butter and shea butter (NO soy); essential oils – for therapeutic effects and scent (no fragrance oils); natural pigments – coffee, cocoa powder, activated charcoal, turmeric, paprika, parsley, kaolin clay, bentonite clay, woad, indigo, madder root and alkanet root; and natural exfoliants – coffee grounds, cornmeal, egg shells and oatmeal.

Our lye soaps are handcrafted using the cold process.  When making soap, lye (highly alkaline) is used to change the molecular structure of fats to attract dirt to the fats and be washed away with the water.  This is called saponification, when this process is complete there is no lye left in the soap.  Glycerine is a naturally occurring ingredient of soap that manufactures remove in commercial soaps, to make harder bars, making homemade lye soaps more moisturizing than commercial soaps.

Having dry or sensitive skin shouldn’t be a challenge to deal with.  We have developed our lip balms, hard lotions and salves to be moisturizing, healing and gentle enough for anyone, including baby.

We are in the process of creating recipes and making products, so keep watching for more products to be added to our list.  Only the soaps have the goat’s milk, as the soap process does not require preservatives, since we DO NOT use preservatives all of our ingredients (except the goat’s milk) are shelf stable and a natural alternative to other products on the market, which drastically reduces the chance of allergic reaction.

Oatmeal & Honey – A gentle cleansing bar with soothing oatmeal and honey along with the goat’s milk, scent free.  Made for everyone, even baby.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nut n Honey – Contains peanut and almond oils.  A lovely sweet and nutty aroma with orange and clove essential oils.

 

 

 

 

Barista Bar – Did you ever want to just bathe in coffee?  Now you can!  with espresso coffee and grounds in this bar along with coffee, cassia and vanilla essential oil, it smells delicious.

 

 

 

 

Drunken Goat – Hops are beneficial to the skin, so lather up. Scented with petigrain, cassia and bergamot and colored with kaolin clay, charcoal, annatto and indigo.

 

 

 

 

Love Me Tender – with extra moisturizing from shea butter and cocoa butter, this creamy soap with soothe your dry skin.  Ylang ylang and orange with paprika and alkanet root for color

 

 

 

 

 

Hempster – For your inner Hippie, with hemp oil and scented with patchouli, petigrain and bay.

 

 

 

 

 

Wine & Roses – A lovely rose made with wine from a local vineyard and and scented with Ylang Ylang and Bay essential oils.

 

 

 

 

Kitchen Helper – Coffee to help remove kitchen odors from hands, with coffee grounds and oatmeal to help scrub you clean.   Grapefruit seed extract is antibacterial and lanolin helps to keep hands soft.

 

 

 

 

Sunshine – Refreshing citrus bar with Lemon Orange and Bergamot essential oils  that is gentle on the skin

 

 

 

 

Cocoamint – With only the natural cocoa butter and peppermint essential oil to add scent, this bar amazingly smells just like Andes chocolates!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Loofah Soap – Wash away dry skin with the loofah pieces that are embedded in this soap.  A refreshing citronella and lemongrass scent.

 

 

 

 

Luxurious Locks – Creamy lather to moisturize dry and tired hair, recommended for soft water use.  Palmaroasa and litsea cubeba with madder root for color.

 

 

 

Camo Clean – Hunters – Anise essential oil helps to remove the ”human scent” before hunting and the “black licorice” scent is an attractant to deer.  For the fisherman – trying to catch the ”big one”? – wash your lures with this soap before and after fishing, fish love anise, and when you are done for the day wash away the “fishy” smell with Camo Clean!  Goat Breeders – this will get rid of “buck” smell!

Laundry Detergent – For those who appreciate the simplicity and quality of homemade detergent but don’t want the hassle, we have a ready-made detergent for you, using our Laundry Bar.  12 oz – 48 loads, 1 – 2 Tablespoons per load.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Felted Dryer Balls – Instead of chemical filled dryer sheets, try throwing 3 – 5 of these into your dryer load to help keep clothes separated and reduce static.  Want a scent – add a few drops of essential oils to the balls.

 

 

 

 

Hard Lotion – warm this bar slightly in your hands, then rub over dry skin for super healing protection.   Doesn’t leave your skin feeling wet or slippery.  Works great on those cracked heels and finger tips.

Lavender Lotion – Same lotion with Lavender essential oil, great for relaxing at bedtime.

 

 

Baby Balm – A healing cream to use all over on baby, but it is SO good at healing diaper rashes.

 

 

 

Love Me Tender – a deep healing and soothing lip balm great for everyone.

Passionate Pink – same as Love Me Tender with added kaolin clay for a slight tint and bergamot and vanilla essential oils.  Yummy!

Chocolate Kiss – Moisturizing and naturally chocolaty - leaves a chocolate tint to your lips.

Hand woven reed baskets – these make great soap dishes since they are able to get wet.  Approximately – 3″ x 5″ x 3″  will hold 2 bars easily.  We can make a gift basket with these if you like!
